Networking Forum
Our forum aims to provide registered users with an opportunity to network and to exchange ideas about selected topics and project activities. Beyond that we will try to provide answers to technical questions through our network of experts. We will start with three topics. More topics will be added at a later stage.
Organic, Fair & Ethical Trade
The Delegation of the European Union and African Farmers Association of South Africa hosted a successful one-day conference on Organic, Fair & Ethical Trade in February 2019. We invite workshop participants and other registered users interested in these topics to post comments
Poultry Trade
In January 2019, a technical meeting took place with stakeholders from EU and SA Industry associations, South African government and SA research institutions. As a follow up we have now completed a study on the topic “The South African broiler industry in the context of the relationship between South Africa and the European Union: Competitiveness, Trade and Alternatives for growth and development”. Circular Economy
Within the 2019 TIPS Annual Forum (TIPS) we organised a panel on “Trash to Treasure, the re-cycle and re-use industry” showcasing EU companies in South Africa with expertise in the fields of water re-use for industrial purposes, biogas for industrial processes, biofuel for the aviation industry and bioplastics.
