BUSINESS CLIMATE SURVEY 2016: EU TRADE AND INVESTMENT IN SOUTHERN AFRICA

The Business Climate Survey 2016 is based on the responses of over 200 EU and EU-associated
companies collected in September 2016. In view of the recent local elections in August 2016, a
number of policy changes and a degree of economic and political volatility, this document
serves as an analytical tool to understand the trends that had an impact of foreign direct
investment in South Africa in 2016.
