Arnaud Montalvo - Chairman of the Board. Arnaud is the CEO of Airbus Industries Africa. Airbus is the most recent corporate member to join the EU Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Southern Africa. Airbus is a group of companies including for example Airbus Helicopters, and is also involved in the sale of commercial and military aircraft, as well as satellite launchers.

Angelika Yakovchuk - Vice-Chairman of the Board. Angelika Yakovchuk is a partner and director at WerthSchröderInc Attorneys. She obtained her BA and LLB degrees at the University of Witwatersrand. She specialises in government policy compliance with a particular focus on corporate immigration law. Working closely with Department of Home Affairs, and through direct involvement with the Minister of the Department, Ms Yakovchuk played an important role in transformation of national immigration policy. Ms Yakovchuk’s represents many of the top multinational organisations operating in South Africa. She holds the position of Vice President of the French-South African Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and is a member of an advisory committee to Ministerial panel.

Donnee Kruger - Member of the Board & Treasurer . Manager of the Gauteng Office (Regional Representative Office) for Trade and Investment KwaZulu-Natal and Chairperson of the Nordic South-African Business Association. Donnée Kruger holds a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning and is currently studying towards her Phd. Donnee has two professional qualifications (clinical dietician and urban and regional planner) and close to 10 years experience in International Business Development and has successfully facilitated several projects, missions and seminars in conjunction with the European Union Delegation in South Africa and respective trade offices.

Rui Miguel Marto - Member of the Board. Rui was admitted as an Attorney in May 1994. After being employed as attorney (professional assistant) for 18 months, he co-founded Marto Lafitte & Associates in 1995. He specialises in Commercial Law and Civil Litigation including Magistrates’, High Court litigation and arbitration. He further assists local and foreign companies seeking to invest in South Africa with company structures, registration of companies, and all related agreements in establishing a local presence. Rui holds current directorships inter alia in the South African Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (SAPCC). Rui obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1989 and his Bachelor of Law degree in 1991, both from the University of Witwatersrand.

Pierre-Yves SACHET - Member of the Board. Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of TOTAL South Africa (Pty) Ltd since 1 September 2016 Executive Vice President Southern Africa (11 affiliates). Total Country Chair for South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho and SwazilandPierre-Yves Sachet graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris in 1989, having majored in Economics and Finance with specialisation in Marketing. He is also attended various training and specialization programs among which an Executive Program in Leadership  at the Stanford Graduate School of Business  and an Executive Energy  Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology .

 Marc Van Pelt has been with Pepperl+Fuchs since 1989 as the co-founder of Pepperl+Fuchs Belgium. Thereafter he transferred to Pepperl+Fuchs Global Headquarters in Mannheim - Germany, to be the Director of Global Account Management. In 2005 he became the Sales Director Process Automation and also responsible for the sales and marketing activities for Western Europe and Africa. Marc has been for many years a member of the Foundation Fieldbus and since 2004 the Vice-President for the Europe, Middle East and Africa operation of this organisation. He relocated to South Africa in 2014 as the Pepperl+Fuchs Managing Director & Sales Director for Africa and has added Regional Manager Africa for the FieldComm Group to his many activities.  He represents the company at the Belgian and German Chambers of Commerce and is an active member of the Society for Automation, Instrumentation Measurement and Control (SAIMC) as well as the Industrial Instrumentation Group (IIG).

Jean-Michel Marnoto  - Member of the Board. After 6 years in the Economic diplomacy (French trade commissionner) in Angola, Mozambique and UAE, he joined the private sector with Bureau Veritas, a French global leader in Quality, Testing and Certification. In charge of Business Development in Africa, he has seen the expansion of Far East influence in the African Trade and its huge impact on European businesses. He is Vice President of the African Commission of the French Foreign Trade Advisors (CNCCEF) since 2002.

Siyabonga Mbanjwa - Member of the Board. Siyabonga Mbanjwa joined SENER in November 2015 after working as a partner  to  SENER  in  South  Africa  and  Spain  since  2011.  He  has successfully opened SENER's first office in Sub Saharan Africa, offering a range of services in the Power Oil & Gas and Infrastructure & Transport sectors in Southern Africa.   He  started  his  career  as  Site  Engineer  at  Murray  &  Roberts Construction. He held project management and  executive management roles at the SA Reserve Bank and Old Mutual.

Emigrated to South Africa in May 1988. Advisor on German Law at Lindsay, Keller & Partners, Johannesburg since 1988. Passed B.Proc. and SA Admission Exam in 1995. Admitted to Regional Court of Appeal, Düsseldorf in 1995. Admitted to the High Court of South Africa, 1996. Passed Master’s Degree in 2002. Chairman of the German International School from 2006 to 2011. Attorney of Trust of the Austrian Embassy. Partner at Lindsay, Keller & Partners from 1996 to 2012. Founded WerthSchröder Inc., Attorneys in 2012.

Diego de Radigues - Board Member. Diego is the managing director at Bakali Foodstuffs CC since 2012. Based in Johannesburg the company manufactures and sells snacks in South Africa, its neighbouring countries and the Island. The company’s goal is to supply a healthier snacking option to the market. Diego studied Administration and Management at UCL (Belgium). Afterwards, he accomplished a Master in Tax in Leuven (KUL). He started his career as a consultant for Ernst & Young in different cities such as Brussels, London and Luxembourg mainly advising investment firms on the tax aspects of their cross-border transactions.

Mixo’s work as the MD of the Southern African - Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (SANEC) in South Africa involves facilitating trade and investments between Southern Africa and the Netherlands, and to foster partnerships between local and international companies. Mixo is also a partner in an international venture capital company, and holds an MBA from Tilburg University in the Netherlands as well as a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Johannesburg.

Consultant to the EU under TA and Advocacy support programs, or Market Access Team, as Team leader in 2016/2017. Private and Public and inter-governmental coordination of projects. Completed his MBA (Finance and Marketing) in 1986, involved in the quality industry since 1994 in South Africa. Previously Chairman of the French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry, founding member and first Chairman of the Board of the EU Chamber.
