First exploratory meeting towards the launch of an Eastern European Chamber of Commerce in South Africa

The EU Chamber represented by Angelika Yakovchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Board, hosted a first meeting with representatives from various Eastern European countries to explore the options and expectations for a potential launch of the Eastern European Chamber of Commerce in South Africa. 

The overall feedback was unanimously positive. All attendees shared individual experiences and stressed to importance for more collaboration. The meeting concluded on the agreement to further specify the potential objectives and services of such a Chamber of Commerce in form of a working paper which will be discussed and approved beginning of next calendar year.  

The meeting was chaired by Angelika Yakovchuk and assisted by Stefan Sakoschek (Chairman of the Board) and Ignaz Fuesgen (Senior Advisor).
